in these times of great transition, it is becoming more and more evident that building community is one of the most potent ways to support and sustain our connections to ourselves, each other and the world around us. these in person and online gatherings offer tangible, valuable and joyful skills for deepening those connections.
in living (mostly) in community for nearly 40 years and facilitating programs for thousands of people for the last 20-plus years, i have come to the conclusion that most of us could expand our capacity for navigating our daily lives in a thoughtful and kind way. i also believe in a more humane way of doing that than setting more goals and trying to fit into a dominant culture which doesn’t actually work for any of us. i believe in doing my best to set sacred intentions, make earnest prayers and move humbly from deep trust. i believe in allowing my visions and intentions to change as i change, which is actually the most solidly enduring way for me to navigate these deeply transformative times.
