hi! my name is ayreÁnna (“air-AHna”) ross…

if you really knew me, you’d know that… i’m passionate about creating more loving connections with the Earth, other humans, myself and all beings. i love writing poetry and blogs, singing and playing guitar, reading books (especially on rainy days), cups of hot tea pretty much any time and deep conversations. i’m slowly un-learning the conditioned habits which so easily take me away from these things by spending more time writing, gardening, meditating/contemplating and being in nature. i cherish my relationships with my wonderful husband Jakob, our amazing adult children, our granddaughters and our growing global family. i also love activating community visions, creating concerts and other spaces to share music and connection, and facilitating workshops and other transformational gatherings.

you’d know that… i was raised in a family of academics, nature-lovers and activists on a beautiful 240-acre homestead in the Sierra Nevada mountains, which greatly colors the lens through which i see the world. being in forested spaces reminds me of the sweetness of solitude which has always kept me connected to my inner wondering, intuiting and deep knowing. i’ve had the privilege of living in community off and on for nearly 40 years to help hone my skills, and, with my partner Jakob, am the co-creator of The Refuge, a shared home, permaculture farm and intimate community space where folx work, play, rest, and regenerate themselves, each other, and the land.

you’d know that… i believe our future on earth is more uncertain than ever. we have affected ourselves, each other, and our planet in many seemingly irreversible ways. at the same time, i feel that what is happening to us is also happening for us. i believe we’re here in this unprecedented time to open to astounding opportunities to express unconditional Love and transform our experience of separation into solutions that actually unite us. thus, i created this online space.

you’d also know that, as a certified coach, counselor and workshop facilitator, i could tell you about what i’ve accomplished. but that honestly feels pretty superficial. if you happen to want to know more about what i’ve done before, you can check out my CV here. like the wonderful oak tree under which i often sit in the morning, i offer my strong connection to the earth, my upward reaching to the spiritual realms, and the flexibility of my branching views on many subjects. i am also very clear you are responsible for your life and choices. that said, i’d love to support you with my services or see you at one of my upcoming gatherings. thank you for visiting!
